Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks (born April 15, 1977) is a famous American actor best well-known for her character Joan Holloway during the first seven seasons AMC's historical drama Mad Men. Apart from receiving critic appreciation, her performance on the show earned six Emmy Award nominations for the best supporting actress category. She has been known in her career of two decades for her roles as a lawyer thriller Kevin Hill, comedy series Another Period and crime drama Tin Star. For her work in movies her name has been praised by critics for Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers: prey of the night Egg and American Woman. In addition, she has provided voiceovers in animation films like From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 and Scoob!. Her career began as a fashion model, and worked as a model for a few years before she made her debut on television with Undressed. She played her first real role in Beggars and Choosers. Her performance in Firefly, a cult movie that was loved by critics and audiences alike, followed. She was in 2010 voted one of the hottest women around the globe and was named the best-looking woman within America by Esquire magazine.
