Aisling Bea

Aisling was born March 16 1984 at Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's best-known and popular comedians. The comedian has appeared on QI with Stephen Fry. Aisling Claiodhnadh, or Aisling "Bea" is a famous Irish writer and actor. She was born on the 16th of March 1984. Bea was first able to make a name for herself as a stand-up comedian in 2011 after playing small roles that she acted in Irish and British television dramas starting in 2009. She began appearing regularly on sketch comedy and sitcoms later in the year. Following her win at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to be booked regularly for various panel shows where she has become a fixture. She was a member of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016 to 2017 and was regularly a contestant on the spinoff 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born in the family of Brian O'Sullivan, the actress was blessed with one sister called Sinead. In 2012 she won the So You Think You're Funny Award twice. Her surname honors the memory of her father who passed away. Aisling Cliodhnadh, O'Sullivan is the daughter of a Kildare woman who was born in Kildare. She was born March 16th 1984. Bea's father Brian, an equine vet who committed suicide at the age of three when Bea turned three, was the sufferer of self-harm. She was told about his passing at thirteen years of age. As a way to honor her dad, she chose the stage name Bea and in 2017, she wrote an article on suicides in her family members for The Guardian. Bea as well as her sister Sinead was raised by Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) an ex-jockey as well as a teacher at a secondary school. The family was fascinated by horses and race meetings. As a young girl, Bea worked as a tour guide in the Irish National Stud however she was aware from an early stage that she was not attracted to the race industry as a career and instead was a performer.
