Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is an Romanian TV presenter and actress. Her most well-known work is the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. She was the sole child of Romanian actors Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her career in show business in the early years of her life. At the age of 16, she turned sixteen, she had secured leading roles in several TV dramas. Her portrayal of Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated wartime historical film) was both critically and commercially acclaimed. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films starring this stunning diva. Alexandra worked on several important international and national projects throughout her career. The projects include British biographical films Control Greek dramatic film The Dust of Time French historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. In addition, she is an official jury member for two festivals: The Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
